Pokémon and Spiderman remind me of you.

Saturday morning and Zakaria is hooked on HGTV. I can only imagine what he has planned for the rebuild. Coffee grinder and French Press has been purchased and so the apartment is complete. :)

I do still wake up every morning and say...wait, what just happened? Then I turn to realizing how grateful I am for Hadi making sure his best friend’s mom secured National’s tickets for Zakaria and my brother. Yes, I could have used the ticket but Awais is the one who taught Hadi a perfect batting stance and also does a better job of explaining the rules of baseball and so, it seemed right that he should go. Granted, I wish we would have won but I am glad I woke up to Zakaria telling me he told Awais Mamoo that he couldn’t have the cheese from his nachos... “it’s nacho cheese!” I am already on my second cup of coffee and I believe I will be reaching into the Halloween candy stash that Zakaria got from the Horizon Elementary Trunk or Treat event. Kid should have gotten me more Reese’s!

When Zakaria is older, I hope he remembers that no matter if it is the NIH or a two bedroom apartment, I will figure out a way to make him my incredible French toast. I just hope he continues to think it’s my special recipe. ;)

Cold Spoon is bustling this morning and as I look around...yet again, I want to say thank you for all the continued support. 🧟‍♂️ Random emoji because I have no words to express my gratitude.
